LOS ANGELES – As per the latest details; the body of legendary singer Whitney Houston, who passed away on Saturday, was sent from Los Angeles to her native place New Jersey on Monday, where the funeral services will be offered. Apart from rumors going around; the cause of the death of the singer, who had long battled drugs and alcohol, is still not established.

According to further details; Houston’s remains were being transported to NJ by a plane owned by actor-producer Tyler Perry. Few members from Houston’s family also were also in the plane flying to New Jersey for a funeral and memorial.
Plans were not yet finalized, said a spokesperson, but the funeral and memorial services will be held possibly on Friday in her hometown of Newark.
The singer with golden voice, the 48-year-old Whitney Houston, was found dead on Saturday after-noon in a suite of Beverly Hills hotel. Police earlier at a news conference to clarify media "rumors", said singer's body had been found underwater in the bathtub but refused to guess on the cause of her death.
